Richardson-Bates House Museum

Oswego, New York, United States

The Society describes a permanent second-floor exhibition honoring Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, the only woman awarded the Medal of Honor. The exhibit opened in June 2024 and specifically features her original medal, making this a primary destination for Walker scholarship rather than a generic Civil War stop.
