U.S. Army Basic Combat Training Museum

Fort Jackson, South Carolina, United States

The Congressional Medal of Honor Society identifies the Fort Jackson Museum as the location of Noah Odell Knight’s Medal of Honor. The current institution is the U.S. Army Basic Combat Training Museum. Knight served with the 7th Infantry Regiment during the Korean War and was awarded the Medal posthumously. The archive records the recipient-level original-medal repository relationship without promising that the medal is continuously available in a public gallery.
