Visitor guidance The Pearl Harbor National Memorial Visitor Center offers exhibitions, historic programs and grounds with the Remembrance Circle. Medal of Honor recipients are commemorated there with gold-lettered names, not with a guaranteed display of their original awards. Check National Park Service program reservations and park access rules before arriving.
Historical description The Pearl Harbor National Memorial Visitor Center interprets the attack of December 7, 1941 through exhibitions, outdoor memorials, eyewitness accounts and interpretive programs. Its visitor facilities are the main point of departure for the USS Arizona Memorial program and several related historic sites, though separate partners manage some ship and aviation museums nearby. The park Service’s outdoor Remembrance Circle is especially relevant to individual acts of valor.
