Historical descriptionKentucky’s State Capitol Rotunda contains a plaque listing the Commonwealth’s Medal of Honor recipients. In 2018 the plaque was re-engraved to add First Lieutenant Garlin Murl Conner after his posthumous award. The Rotunda location makes the plaque part of Kentucky’s civic ceremonial space rather than a stand-alone museum collection.
