Historical descriptionEpinal American Cemetery and Memorial occupies 48 acres above the Moselle River in the Vosges. The cemetery contains 5,252 graves and 424 names of the missing and preserves the story of the U.S. Seventh Army campaigns from southern France through the Vosges and toward Germany. Its memorial includes a chapel, portico, map room, and Court of Honor.
